Twitter has just made an update to their update feeds that
has big implications for people who post links to visual media in their updates
– and those who get those updates in their feeds.
Now whenever a user posts a link to an image or a Vine,
Twitter automatically displays a thumbnail of that image in the update feed,
allowing users to see a preview or click directly on a Vine to play it right
there in their own feed. Twitter has also reworked their controls for
favoriting, replying, and retweeting in an attempt to make sharing these posts
easier for users.
