After announcing they would soon begin allowing advertisers
to purchase and implement sponsored posts on users’ feeds, Instagram has
allowed beta testing for this exciting new advertising opportunity. And while
that does mean that small businesses aren’t yet open to advertising through Instagram, it does mean they need to be prepared.

Instagram followings have a few key points they need to start thinking about
now while major companies are advertising so that once the company allows wide
access to sponsored posting, they’ll be ready to implement their own campaigns

There promises to be a huge rush of new advertisers from all
industries once the beta testing comes to an end, but the most important thing
for a company to remember is that this is a new medium for advertising – one
that requires whole new approaches.
